The Union and the JPC Launch New Commercials Contract Website
We are thrilled to announce the Commercials Contract website, an easy and innovative way to find and understand the Commercials Contract terms.
SAG-AFTRA and The Joint Policy Committee (JPC) have jointly developed a single source for Commercials Contract information in response to feedback from recent surveys and interviews of advertisers, agencies, performers, and others who support the industry.
The new Commercials Contract website provides a side-by-side comparison of the 2016 Contract, 2019 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and 2022 MOA (e.g., payment structure, MPU and holding fees, editing), and links to our jointly developed educational materials to make them more accessible than ever. Content can now be navigated by alphabetical index, category, Contract section, or keyword search.
In 2024, SAG-AFTRA and the JPC plan to publish a comprehensive 2022 SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract book – thus eliminating the need to reference the 2016 Contract, 2019 MOA and 2022 MOA individually. The website will be updated at that time and will continue to evolve with the Commercials Contract.
Please bookmark the Commercials Contract website (commercialscontract.org) and share with others as it will continue to be updated in order to provide a simple, easy to navigate, single source for Commercials Contract information.
